pop tart shrinkage...
.... and how can we avoid it?

Toaster effect Pop tart shrinkage is when you peel open a pack of pop tarts and throw them in the toaster, and when you pull them out, they sure look a lot smaller. As they bake, something goes wrong....something goes very, VERY wrong.

You see, the pop tarts shells are made of a bunch of lard and a little bit of flour. Neither of them like heat too much, and when you bake them, the atomic structure of the lard and flour interact with each other in a last ditch desperate measure because they know the end is near.

Free electrons bond with empty electron shells where ever they can be found. This is because when the electrons get hot, they become very, VERY unstable. If an electron can find a free electron hole, he will bounce in there and try to cool off a bit. Of course, their little electron butts are burnt and smoking by the time this happens. We know this because:

=> ex b (b >= 0 and ex x (b + m*x > 0))rldecdeg1(m*x**4711+b**8>0,{b,x});
=> {b + m*x > 0,{{x,4711},{b,8.

...........it has always been a rough life in the electron world and so we shouldn't be too concerned about them.

ok, anyways, when all the outer electrons ditch their burning atom homes for the cooler more fashionable atoms on the inside next to the cherry filling, the old abandoned atoms basically know that the party is over, so they just shrivel and burn up.

This outer atom effect has two results. The Poptart begins to shrink because of the shrivel effect of the atoms, PLUS the since the atom has no electrons to party with anymore, they turn BLACK and chemically become a carbon atom. (carbon atoms are like loser- low life atoms) ..... they should have known this already since they were placed no where NEAR the fashionable Cherry filling district.

....so basically by now, you are probably asking your self this question: What is the formula mass of Ba(HSO3) 2 to 1 decimal place?

Well! let's take a looky here:

.......let's just say that x*y=0 and (x=0 or y>0),v);
=> {v1 = 0 and (v2 = 0 or v3 > 0),
{v1 = x*y,v2 = x,v3 = y}}

=> {x + 1,x - 1}((a = 0 or b = 0) and (b = 0 or c = 0));
=> (a = 0 and c = 0) or b = 0ex(x,x+b1>=0 and a2*x+b2<=0);
2 - b2
=> {{a2 *b1 - a2*b2 >= 0 and a2 <> 0,{x = -------}},
{a2 < 0 or (a2 = 0 and b2 <= 0),{x = infinity1}}}

..... so you see that the reason the shell expands like a big STUPID balloon is because the moisture in the cherry filling turns to steam and wants OUT! .... but since the Pop tart corp. seals the Pop tarts in a 242 ton press and no steam relief vents, there is little chance of that happening. therefore we are left with a huge void where the cherry filling should be but isn't. Actually the Cherry filling freaks out and clings to the walls of the crust not really knowing of all the death and kaos going on outside those walls.

Tune in next week when we discuss why the frosting that looked so nice and thick before it was baked, ended up looking all brown and burnt up after coming out of the toaster.

its late, i'm beat, but i had a great time tonight.
i just got home from our show tonight in port huron.
we played in the upstairs of some old warhouse turned student co-op art studio. it basicly looked like an indoor junk yard in one room, and a big ass empty room with 1/2 done art projects all over, and a stage on the other side.
it was pretty interesting to say the least.
We played around 11pm to the peak of the crowd in terms of attendance. While we were playing i looked down and saw hooot ass chicks in sexy halloween costumes dancing on one side, and the all the hardcore metal guys slamming into each other on the other side.
best part? we fucking KILLED! when we were done, people were comming up on stage while we were trying to quickly load our gear off and telling us how much they dug us, and all this stuff. it took me forever to get my shit off the stage because people kept comming up there to talk to me!
then we basicly partied at this place till 4am watching all the other bands and what not.

its too bad the detroit metal scene kinda sucks, cause the little "rest stop" towns in the middle of michigan have some really cool people and a nice little scene of bands that really stick together and have been very cool to us city kids.
The shows up there are always an adventure too...

i had to vent somewhere, i'm still geeked about how good it went.
bad news? as of now, i don't have any photos or anything.
i saw flashes in my face every now and then, so i'm sure we'll get ahold of some eventually.
i think i saw a camcorder out there too. it was hard to tell because they had a fog machine and weren't afraid to use it!

everyone at my work is so fucking clueless... i seriously don't know how they get by!
the members, the staff, everyone. totally clueless.

Plus there is this a cricket in the room i work in that won't SHUT UP! i've been trying to locate it all morning, and i'm convinced it is under the cabinets somewhere. so basicly the only thing i can do is kick the cupboards every 30 seconds to shut this fucking thing up!

its seriously going to drive me nuts.
